Donate your Time and Expertise to GardenAfrica

As well as horticultural expertise which you feel may be of benefit to projects, you may have skills that could help us here in the UK. You don't have to travel the world to make a difference.

Hold a garden or allotment party: Invite your friends to help spread the knowledge of what we do and how they can get involved like you in raising money in enjoyable ways for GardenAfrica. We would love to hear of any parties that you have thrown and your pictures could end up on our website.

GardenAfrica inspired school garden or project: Teaching children the importance of nutrition and the benefits of gardening. It also gives the children a good insight into responsibility and social issues, plants grown could be sold at school fairs with the proceeds going to GardenAfrica. Nutrition and health, resource conservation and biodiversity management are particularly pertinent in today's global and educational agenda. The work of GardenAfrica, and the way it addresses these issues, can be used to help teach citizenship - a vital part of the National Curriculum. Please get in touch for more information.
