After attending GardenAfrica's training, the vivacious Thandi was employed as an HIV/AIDS counsellor at the Lillian Ngoyi clinic in Soweto. 

Here she is setting up her own training garden, so that the many people who often have to wait all day to be seen at the clinic, can come and learn about growing nutritious foods and medicinal plants, which will complement their treatment and boost natural immunity against secondary infections.
