GardenAfrica's 2011 Radio 4 Appeal
BBC Gardener's World's Carol Klein enthusiastically agreed to present our BBC Radio 4 Appeal. Our hands on, no-nonsense approach appealed to this incredible woman, for whom a passion for plants and the people who grow them, along with a keen sense of justice, is a driving force.
If you missed it, you can 'listen again' via the Radio 4 website by clicking here.
View the Swazi Gardeners Photo Story below.
The project decribed in the appeal is the result of a fruitful collaboration between GardenAfrica and its Swazi partners - Vusumnotfo and Guba. Together, we remain immensely proud of this project and its participants, and appreciate the opportunity to share their story with you. You can read more about it here.
With your support, more people like this will receive training which will enable them and their families to become food secure, and confident in managing their natural resources for a more sustainable future.
